What is ecommerce workflow automation?

Workflow automation lets software handle routine work: when something happens, check a condition, then act. For a seller, that might mean lowering a price when stock gets old, unlisting a product that ran out, or drafting a purchase order when stock falls below the reorder point.

O2M Automations is a visual builder. You add cards from top to bottom: a start card, then checks, actions, waits and people, and each card can send an item down a different path. Start from 26 ready-made automations, or build your own from more than 70 cards, with no code.

Because it runs inside O2M, it sees your stock, orders, listings, costs and fees together. Offer prices stay within MRP and your minimum profit, and every run records what it saw, the way it went and what it changed, so a run can be undone.

Start cards

Start when a product, stock level, listing, order, return or purchase order changes, on a schedule, or by hand.

Check cards

Compare a value, sort items into ranges, or stop what does not match. Each answer leads its own way.

Do cards

Change offer prices, list and unlist, draft purchase orders, hold orders, draft claims and update product fields.

People cards

Ask for approval, give someone a task, or notify by bell and e-mail.

Start from one of 26 ready-made automations.

Each one asks for the few values you usually change, then installs as a draft. Nothing runs until you switch it on.

Approvals

Price limits

Offer prices never go above MRP or below the floor set by your pricing rule.

Profit check

The Check profit card spots a change that would lose money, and can ask for approval.

Safety limits

Limits stop automations doing too much at once, and a person approves every courier booking.

Suggestions

O2M spots work your team keeps doing by hand and offers it as an automation, with the evidence.

Return risk

RTO and returns are learned from your own orders, then risky cash-on-delivery orders are held or tagged.

Scarce stock

When stock gets scarce, the last units stay on the channels that earn most per unit.

Deadlines

Everything that costs money if missed: dispatch, returns, claims and purchase orders.

Simple from the first day.

Step 1

Start when stock, orders or listings change.

Step 2

Step 3

How to choose workflow automation software

Automation changes live prices and listings, so safety matters as much as speed.

  • Test before going live

You should be able to try a flow on real data with nothing changed.

  • Approvals where you want them

Some changes need a person. Add a check at exactly that step.

  • A record of every run

If a price changed, you should see why, and be able to undo it.

  • Limits on prices

MRP and a minimum profit should hold no matter what a flow does.

  • Data from your whole business

A tool that sees only one channel cannot judge what is best across them.

  • Ready-made starting points

Most teams move faster from a working example than a blank page.

Automations: your questions answered.

Do I need to write code?

No. Automations are built by adding cards from top to bottom.

Can a person approve a change first?

Yes. Add an approval card wherever you need one.

Can I test an automation?

Yes. Use Try it first on a real product or order, or Test on past data, before you switch it on.

Can I undo what an automation did?

Yes. Open the run and use Undo changes of this run.

Can an automation sell below my cost?

Offer prices never go below the floor set by your pricing rule, and the Check profit card can stop a change that would lose money.

How long are runs kept?

Runs and their steps are kept for 60 days. Daily counts are kept for good.

Can AI help me build one?

With the AI add-on, describe it in a sentence and O2M drafts the cards. Nothing runs until you check them and switch it on.

Can automations message customers?

With the messaging add-ons, cards can send WhatsApp, SMS and e-mail through your own vendors.

Let routine work run by itself.
