Change your password and see your two-factor sign-in in Settings → Security.

Overview

Settings → Security is where you change your password and see how your two-factor codes arrive.

Settings → Security

Open Settings at the bottom of the menu, then Security (the shield icon under your profile). The page has two parts.

Figure 5.1  Settings → Security: Password and Two-factor login.

Change your password

  1. 1Enter your Current password.
  2. 2Enter the New password (at least 8 characters) and enter it again in Confirm new password.
  3. 3Click Update password.

Tip  Forgot your current password? Sign out and use Reset password on the sign-in page instead.

Two-factor login

This card shows how your codes arrive: by e-mail, or from your authenticator app. If your company uses an authenticator app, you can set it up here before your next sign-in, or move it to a new phone.

Whether two-factor sign-in is required, and which method is used, is decided for the whole company, so this card has no switch to turn it off.

Keep your account safe

  • Each person has their own account. Do not share a sign-in between colleagues; invite them instead.
  • Log out of shared computers and untick Trust this device on them.
  • If you think someone else has your password, reset it at once and tell your company admin.
