Add your first products
Three ways to create Master Products, and how to list them.
Overview
A Master Product is the one O2M record of a product, made from a channel import, a catalogue or the create form.
Before you begin
- Your SKU rules are set.
Three ways in

The create form
The create form starts by asking what you want to do:

| List on channels | You fill in the product once, plus anything each chosen channel needs, and publish it to those channels. |
| Only create product | The Master Product is saved in O2M only. List it on channels whenever you are ready. |
- 1Open Master Products and click Create.
- 2Pick List on channels or Only create product.
- 3Choose the category and product type.
- 4Fill in the title, attributes, price and images. Add variants if the product comes in sizes or colours.
- 5Save. The Master SKU is made from your SKU rules.
List on a channel
Publishing sends the product to the channel. Follow its progress in Listings & Channels. If a channel rejects a listing, the reason is shown on the listing so you can fix it and try again.
Tip Teams that check listings before they go live can turn on approvals. Waiting listings appear under Listings & Channels → Approvals.
Keep products tidy
- Change a product on its Master Product, then push the change to its channels.
- Group products into Segments to work on many at once.
- Add your own fields in Settings → Attribute Management.
