Channel locations
See each channel's locations, choose a main location, and link warehouses to them.
Overview
A channel location is a place a sales channel holds stock, such as a Shopify location, a Flipkart pickup location or Amazon's pooled stock. Linking warehouses to channel locations decides which stock each channel can sell.
Why use it
- Choose a main location per channel.
- Decide which warehouses feed each channel.
- See what O2M does on each connected channel.
Before you begin
- Your channels are connected in O2M.
Channel locations
Open Settings → Stock → Channel locations. O2M reads each connected channel's locations: Shopify locations, Flipkart locations from your listings, and Amazon's pooled location (or each supply source with Amazon multi-location). A location a channel stops reporting becomes inactive.
Choose a main location per channel. Changes that are not tied to a location go there, for example a sale on another channel.
Linking warehouses
With more than one warehouse, each channel location shows a Fed by list: tick the warehouses that supply it. The location is offered the available stock of the ticked warehouses. For example, if Amazon is fed by Bengaluru (10 available) and Delhi (5 available), Amazon is offered 15.
- A new warehouse feeds no channel until you tick it.
- A Shopify or Flipkart location is fed by exactly one warehouse.
- Amazon's pooled location and single-number channels may be fed by several warehouses.
- A warehouse cannot be unlinked while it holds orders for that channel.
Two-way sync status
Below the locations, Stock changed on a channel shows each connected channel with What O2M does there, when O2M last read it, and the last change added from it. Click Read now to read every channel at once.
