Introduction
What the Orders page is, how orders reach it and what each status means.
Overview
Orders is the one list of orders from every connected channel, with each order's products, customer, amounts and status.
Why use it
- See orders from every channel in one place.
- Know the status of any order at a glance.
- Keep stock right on every channel as orders come in.
Before you begin
- At least one channel is connected.
One list for every channel
Orders from every connected channel, such as Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, your website and wholesale, arrive in O2M on their own. You do not enter or import them. Each order appears once, with its channel, customer, products, amounts and status.
At the top, the summary cards count your orders by status and units. Below them are the search box and the status, Marketplace and date range filters, with Advanced for more conditions and Columns to choose what the list shows. The orders list fills the rest of the page, newest first.
What happens when an order arrives
Arrives
From any connected channel
Stock held
Units are set aside so no other channel sells them
Shipped
The channel or your team dispatches it
Delivered
The sale is complete
Because every channel sees the same stock, an order on one channel lowers the stock shown on all the others. This is how O2M stops you selling the same unit twice.
Order statuses
Every order shows one O2M status in the Status column. It uses the same words for every channel, so a Shopify order and an Amazon order at the same stage show the same status.
Each status has its own colour. Under a status you may also see a short note, such as auto-delivered, the channel's own wording, or the courier and tracking number. Click a tracking number to follow the parcel on the courier's site.
| Status | What it means | Stock |
|---|---|---|
| Placed | The order has arrived and is waiting to be prepared | Held for the order |
| Processing | The order is being prepared for dispatch | Held for the order |
| Shipped | The parcel has left your warehouse | Removed from stock |
| Out for delivery | The courier is delivering it today | Removed from stock |
| Delivered | The customer has the order | Removed from stock |
| Cancelled | The order will not be fulfilled | Released back to sale |
| Returned | The customer sent the order back | Waiting for your team to check the returned units |
| Lost | The parcel was lost in transit | Not returned to stock |
Statuses change on their own as each channel reports the next step. The only change you make by hand is Mark delivered, for channels that never report delivery.
