Labels and shipping

Print labels on PDF or thermal printers, and book couriers through Shiprocket.

Please reach out to your account manager to enable thermal printing and Shiprocket booking for your company.

Overview

Labels and shipping covers printing bin, lot, item, shipping, carton and pallet labels on PDF or thermal printers, and booking couriers through your Shiprocket account.

Why use it

  • Print labels in the size your printer needs.
  • Compare courier rates and book at the pack station.
  • Track parcels after handover.

Before you begin

  • Thermal printing and Shiprocket are add-ons enabled per company.

Each is enabled separately for your company. PDF labels work without either.

PDF labels

Every label can be downloaded as a PDF: bin labels, lot labels, item barcodes, shipping labels, and carton and pallet labels.

Thermal printers

With the thermal printing add-on, O2M produces ZPL labels for Zebra-compatible printers. In Settings → Stock → Label printing choose the size per kind of label (4 × 6 in, 4 × 2 in, 2 × 1 in or custom) and the printer resolution (152, 203, 300 or 600 dpi).

Each computer chooses how to print: download the .zpl file, send it through Zebra Browser Print, or send it to a network printer address. Print a test label first.

Good to know  Browsers block sending to a network printer over plain http from O2M's secure page. Use Zebra Browser Print or download the file instead.

Booking couriers with Shiprocket

  1. 1In Settings → Stock → Shipping, connect your own Shiprocket account and match each warehouse to a Shiprocket pickup location.
  2. 2At the pack station, click Compare courier rates for the parcel's weight, size and PIN codes.
  3. 3Book a courier. O2M creates the Shiprocket order, gets the AWB, requests the pickup and keeps the label on the parcel. The quoted charge becomes the parcel's shipping cost.
  4. 4After handover, O2M follows the parcel's tracking for you, or click Check now.

A booking can be cancelled before the parcel is on a manifest. Shiprocket bills you directly.
