Scanner app

Do floor work from a phone or handheld scanner, online or offline.

Overview

The scanner app is a full-screen version of O2M for phones and handheld scanners, for receiving, putaway, moving, picking, packing, dispatch and counts on the floor.

Why use it

  • Work on the floor without a computer.
  • Scan instead of typing.
  • Keep working offline with the offline add-on.

Opening the app

Tip  Poor signal in the warehouse? The offline add-on keeps Receive, Put away, Pick and Count working without a connection. Ask your O2M account manager about it.

Working offline

With the offline add-on, Receive, Put away, Pick and Count keep working without a connection. Work done offline waits in a queue and is sent in order when the connection returns; each action is applied exactly once. Waiting to send lists what is queued and anything refused, with the reason and Send again or Remove.

Important  Pack, Dispatch and Move need a connection. Units received offline cannot be put away until the receipt has been sent, and taking a picklist needs a connection.
