Shopify

Install the O2M app on your Shopify store, choose its location, and import your products.

Overview

The Shopify integration installs the O2M app on your store, so products, orders, refunds, stock and fulfilment flow between Shopify and O2M.

Before you begin

  • Your store's Shopify address, which ends in .myshopify.com (for example your-store.myshopify.com). Find it in Shopify admin under Settings → Domains.
  • A Shopify staff account that can install apps (the store owner, or staff with the Apps permission).
  • In O2M: the Admin or Billing admin role.

Connect Shopify

  1. 1Open Settings → Marketplace and Integrations → Marketplaces and click Connect now on the Shopify Store card.
  2. 2In Store domain, type your store's address, such as your-store.myshopify.com.
  3. 3Click Install O2M on Shopify. Shopify opens and shows what the O2M app may access.
  4. 4Click Install in Shopify.
  5. 5Shopify sends you back to O2M, and the Shopify card shows Connected.

Type the .myshopify.com address even if your customers use your own domain. Nothing else is entered in O2M: Shopify gives O2M its access when you approve the app.

Good to know  Connecting a different store than before asks whether its products belong with the ones already in O2M. Choose Yes when it sells the same products, so matching SKUs are joined. Choose No to keep that store's products separate.

Choose the location and import

  1. 1Under Settings → Stock → Channel locations, choose which O2M warehouse feeds each Shopify location.
  2. 2On the Shopify card, click Import products to bring in the products already in your store (see Importing products).
  3. 3Use Sync on the card whenever you want O2M to catch up with Shopify straight away.

Tip  Shopify products keep their Shopify SKU as the Master SKU. A product with no SKU in Shopify, or with a SKU already used in O2M, gets one from your SKU rules.

After connecting

  • Orders: new Shopify orders, edits, cancellations and refunds appear in Orders.
  • Stock: O2M's number is sent to Shopify. A change made in Shopify admin is brought back into O2M.
  • Shipping: when a parcel leaves, the order is fulfilled on Shopify with the courier and tracking number, and Shopify e-mails your customer.

Disconnect

Open the Shopify card and click Disconnect. Removing the O2M app in Shopify admin also disconnects the store. Your products stay in O2M.
